Cancellation Policy

WelcomeYour appointment at Selene + Amara is a space held just for you — intentional, intimate, and unhurried. This policy exists to honor your time and mine, and to ensure every client experience feels as considered as the work we do together.By booking a session, you agree to the terms below. How to Book All appointments are by request only — walk-ins are not available. To book, complete the inquiry form at seleneandamara.com. You'll hear back within 24–48 business hours (Tuesday through Friday). Your appointment is not confirmed until your deposit has been received. Please request appointments at least 48 hours in advance. Same-day and next-day requests cannot be accommodated. Deposits & Payment A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to hold your appointment. The remaining balance is due at the start of your session. Accepted payment methods: Cash, Venmo, PayPal, and card via invoice. Payment plans are available for packages — just ask during your inquiry. Cancellation & Rescheduling 72 or more hours notice — Your deposit may be applied toward a rescheduled appointment or refunded at my discretion. 24 to 72 hours notice — Your deposit is forfeited. Rescheduling is available at a reduced re-booking rate. Less than 24 hours / No-show — Your deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook. Rescheduling: One complimentary reschedule is allowed per booking with 48 or more hours notice. Additional reschedules require a new deposit. In the rare event that I need to cancel, you will be notified as early as possible. Your deposit will be fully refunded or applied to a rescheduled appointment — your choice. Late Arrivals Please arrive at your scheduled time. Sessions end at the originally scheduled time regardless of arrival. Up to 10 minutes late — Session continues with adjusted time 15 or more minutes late — Session may be shortened or rescheduled at my discretion No call / no show — Treated as a cancellation; deposit is forfeited Session Expectations Selene + Amara is a one-on-one atelier experience. To make the most of your time: Arrive wearing or bring undergarments and foundation pieces appropriate for styling Come with an open mind — this is a space of exploration, not performance Additional guests are not included in sessions unless pre-arranged Photography or video of the studio or styling work requires prior written permission Alterations Alterations are available as an add-on to styling sessions.
